               Mobile phone is also called "cellular phone ". It is a device mainly used for a voice call. Presently technological advancements have made our life easy. Today, with the help of a mobile phone we can easily talk or video chat with anyone across the world by just moving our fingers.

              It is very  useful when it comes to contacting someone in an emergency. It is the best communication tool as it will help us contact anyone, such as the police or ambulance in an emergency situation. Today mobile phones are available in various shapes and sizes, having different technical specifications and are used for a number of purposes like voice calling, video chatting, text messaging or SMS, multimedia messaging, internet browsing, email, video games and photography. 

             However, it can be misused too depending on the way we use it. It is accepted that mobile phones are not suitable for children due to several reasons. The first is that children and young inexperience the functions of mobile phones. They face the problem of selecting what is good and bad. Many children play games on their mobile phones and waste money.



        Children below 14 years can do without such mobile phones because these phones come with games, songs, face book, cameras and other facilities which could be used in a wrong manner. It can be recommended that mobile phones are not a good device for children at all the time. Therefore, Limited use of mobile phones is advisable for school children with the guidance of parents.

My Picnic to Nuwara Eliya.

I was counting my fingers until this day came. My best friends Shasika and Kasun also joined with me for the picnic. We left very enthusiastically in the morning and by the time we reached Nuwara Eliya, it was around 10 a.m. Nuwara Eliya is known as little England. Because of very nice environment and cool climate. Within year large number of tourists are come to visit and enjoy, due to this attractiveness and cool climate of Nuwara Eliya.  We had breakfast at the Hakgala Botanical garden. This place is the second largest garden among the five botanical garden in Sri lanka. When we arrived to this garden, it had cool temperate climate and it was help to decrease our fatigue easily. The day was a fun day than other days with my friends and environment of the Nuwara Eliya. And then we walked through the beautiful tea estates and enjoy the beauty of the environment.
